I trampled on a daisy the other day and felt my heart drop, just to realise that I had entered the most beautiful summer I had ever seen. I floated on the grass and landed amongst a million little white daises, fluttering away with the summer breeze. I could feel the little brook flowing past of me when I sat down to reflect.

Figs and Honey

Cranberries intertwined with clementines,

In baskets under the weather sunny,

Giggles of infatuations pristine,

As I dipped the figs in honey.

Baking and tanning in the heat,

We lit up the offshore charcoals,

And as the figs caramelised sweet,

Old lovebirds set out on their strolls.
